VR

I've been around and in the VR space since around 2016, finally buying my first real headset in 2020 when the Oculus Quest 2 released. (woohoo oculus!!) Currently I own 3 HMDs, the original Quest 2, a Quest 3 (boohoo meta), and a Valve Index. My Q3 is "modded" to work with the Index controllers and other Lighthouse tracked devices via a little 3D printed piece I designed attached with 3M tape and OVR Space Calibrator

I run exclusively PCVR 99% of the time, and after 4ish years of making the Quests work with PCVR my favorite software has got to be SteamLink. Virtual Desktop is great for displaying your screen in VR for playing flatscreen games, but since SteamLink goes directly into SteamVR there's no middle-man and it's almost treated like a native SteamVR headset. As for the Oculus software, I HATE IT! That might be a bit of an overexaggeration, but it hasn't really had official support for years, (unless you count them changing the logo from oculus to meta ofc) and it's really good at just, randomly not working? Especially when working in tandem with SteamVR it'll crash, lag, artifact, everything you wouldn't want from a VR experience, where on the same hardware SteamLink and Virtual Desktop run perfectly.

GAMES! As far as games go I'd be confident saying I've played nearly every notable one. My favorite VR game of all time is Boneworks, after playing the campaign in 2020 I still come back and play it. Games I'd recommend you play if you have a headset and haven't already:
